New Order: "Blue Monday" is the best-selling 12-inch release of all time, moving over three million copies worldwide.
2 Unlimited: The single "No Limit" went #1 in 35 countries. They once played in front of 450,000 people at the Parkpop festival in Holland. In 1995 they tied an English record by releasing 12 consecutive top 10 singles, tying the likes of The Beatles, ABBA, The Rolling Stones and Madonna. (I think Madonna has since broken this record)
Black Sabbath: Around since 1969, if you include all the myriad of changes to band personnel, there have been 27 different "versions" of Black Sabbath. Amazingly, the original group is now back together (even Ozzy) and is said to begin touring soon.

Abba: "Abba Gold" went platinum in 20 countries and sold over 4 million copies during the first six months after it's release even though the band had been broken up for over ten years at the time of "Abba Gold"'s release.
