Check out the shows I like to watch (in no particular order):
Sports
Hockey and Football is where it's at. I can't stand sitting through the end game "foul-fest" of basketball games (so exactly what is an "intentional foul" anyway!) and baseball is just plain boring to watch on TV. Italian league soccer is pretty cool if you want to laugh at all the guys diving around trying to draw foul calls. Sometimes they even get in the refs face and push him around. Quite a riot. The last game I saw I thought they were going to kick the refs butt after several rather controverial calls against the home team. Rather than holding his ground and issuing warnings or yellow cards, the ref ran away... literally. Pretty hilarious.
While some of the episodes have admittedly been a little shallow, I really like this show. Very interesting idea. I'm glad the SCI-FI channel picked this show up after FOX dumped it. The new episodes started June 8th with a cool 2 episode debut!
Too bad The SCI-FI Channel didn't pick up Space: Above and Beyond like Sliders (just repeats for SAaB, no new episides). SAaB is the best space show out there, way better then any of those bastardizations of Star Trek, save maybe TNG. Babylon 5 is quite good, but I'll still take SAaB. Why? Because they solve all their problems the same way: KICKING ALIEN BUTT!!! No diplomacy, no lame "let's all just be friends" crap, just lots of fighting. As Hawks once said, "Come get some Chiggie-man!", or West, "Open wide you Chigg bastards!" Yeah! Or Wang, "AHHH! Come get sooome!" Rock on! That's the way it should be. =:-)
Another very interesting show. Some episodes are just plain stupid, but most are pretty good. I'm sure you all know this show, so I won't bother with more.
This show is so damn funny! I saw a bootleg of the original short (I can't remember the actual name, but most people call it "Santa vs Jesus") and just about died laughing. There is also a short with some kind of evil snowman which supposedly preceeds Santa vs Jesus. It's not as good, but still funny. Interestingly, I think Cartman and Kenny were switched and Cartman was the one that died, not Kenny (or something like that). When they made a show of it on Comedy Central, my prayers where answered. By the way, this show is derisive, laden with profanity and quite vulgar. It is often sexist, anti-semitic, anti-gay and just plain insulting. Please follow the link and/or watch the show at you own risk.
